You (a "Participant") must have (or sign up for) a MyMacs.ca account (an "Account") to enter "THE ZOMBIE GAME" contest. See "Contest Rules and Regulations" below for a full set of rules and regulations, which are incorporated herein by reference.

Contest entry is open only to legal residents in the provinces of BC, AB, SK, MB and NWT who are 13 years of age or older and who fulfill the requirements of registration. Eligible Participants who have not reached the age of majority in their resident province must have their parent or legal guardian’s consent and acceptance of all rules and regulations. Promotion runs from 12am (MST) February 4th, 2013 to 11:59pm (MST) March 31st, 2013 and all prizes must be claimed by April 14th, 2013. Some online prizes may have additional eligibility requirements.

CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
The following are the Official Rules and Regulations (the "Rules") of the Mac's Convenience Stores Inc. ("Mac’s") ‘The Zombie Game’ (the "Contest"). The Contest is a promotion of the Western Region (BC, AB, SK, MB, NWT) of Mac's Convenience Stores Inc., a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (the "Promotion Group"). The Contest is void, in whole or in part, where prohibited by law and is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. There is no purchase necessary to participate in the Contest. For entry without purchase please see "How to Participate in the Contest" below. The Promotion Group reserves the right to make changes to the Contest, where necessary, due to changing business, operational and marketing considerations. Subject to applicable laws, these Rules govern all aspects of the Contest, and are binding upon all Contest Participants. In the event of any inconsistency between the Rules and the conditions and explanations appearing on any other documents, including the Contest Particulars, these Rules shall take precedence.
The Contest is open only to legal residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northwest Territories who are 13 years of age or older and fulfill the registration requirements. Selected Participants may be required to prove their age at the time of redeeming their prizes. Selected Participants under the age of majority in their province/territory of residence may be required to have a parent or legal guardian accept the prize on their behalf. Members and associates of the Promotion Group are not eligible to win any of the prizes. This includes: store operators, employees, officers, or immediate family members of Mac's Convenience Stores Inc. (including independent Mac’s or Winks), 612 Creative Inc., Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., (collectively referred in the Rules as the "Sponsors") and each of their respective advertising agencies. In order to participate in the Contest, you must have a valid e-mail address registered in your name and a properly registered Account. See the MyMacs.ca Website Terms and Conditions for additional information on registering an Account. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account.
3. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest starts at 12am (MST) on February 4th, 2013 and ends at 11:59pm (MST) March 31st, 2013 (the "Contest Period").
4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST
Online Entry – To enter the Contest visit a Mac’s store and receive code(s) equivalent to one entry for every $5.00 in purchases, excluding lottery and prepaid gift cards. Visit MyMacs.ca, register an Account, enter the code(s) from the receipt slip, and play for the prizes as presented. Proof of purchase (or verification of "No Purchase Entry") may be required.
No Purchase Entry – Game codes are not available at Mac’s stores without purchase. To request a game ticket without purchase (a "No Purchase Entry") please send your request, including the name of the Contest, your first name, last name, full home address (including postal code), and valid e-mail address, with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to:

Upon receipt of your submission a game ticket will be mailed to the address on your stamped, self addressed envelope. Visit MyMacs.ca, register, enter the game code, and play for the prizes as presented. Maximum one game code will be sent per stamped, self-addressed, return envelope. Mac's is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed game codes. Mac’s reserves the right to limit the number of No Purchase Entries sent per day to the same address.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to substitute all or any portion of the Prizes with a prize or portion thereof of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable, and non-refundable. The Sponsors also reserve the right to modify any awards, discounts, quantities and award schedules at any time during the Contest. Cash prizes may be paid in the form of a cheque.
6. SELECTION OF WINNERS
Winners of weekly, daily, and minor prizes will be determined based on scores (points earned) during the specified period for a given prize as presented, as recorded by the ZombieGame.MyMacs.ca website. Any attempt to manipulate or tamper with the Contest scoring system will result in disqualification and may lead to criminal and/or civil prosecution.
For the purposes of the Contest: a "day" shall mean a calendar day that commences at 12:00 AM and terminates at 11:59 PM (MST); a "week" shall begin on Monday and end on Sunday. The "Western Region" refers to BC, AB, SK, MB, NWT.
The decisions of the Promotion Group and/or the Sponsors in relation to the Contest will be final and binding on all Participants. If a selected Participant is awarded a prize due to a system error, malfunction or defect, the prize may be returned to the prize pool, to be re-awarded in accordance with these Rules.
Grand Prize Draw:
The grand prizes will be awarded by random draw (the "Grand Prize Draw"). Entry ballots ("Grand Prize Entries") will be awarded to the weekly prize winners for each week, and the daily prize winners, in accordance with the tables below. Contestant names will be written on Grand Prize Entries and placed in a box. Winners’ names will be drawn from the box by a neutral person. The Grand Prize Draw will take place on or before April 30, 2013
("Grand Prize Draw Date"). Odds of being a grand prize winner depend on the number of eligible Grand Prize Entries.
Top Scores Overall:
The top 20 overall eligible points earners for the duration of the Contest Period will be awarded an additional quantity of Grand Prize Entries. The top overall eligible points earner will be awarded 20 additional Grand Prize Entries, the second overall eligible points earner will be awarded 19 additional Grand Prize Entries, and so forth down to the 20th overall eligible points earner who will be awarded 1 additional Grand Prize Entry.
Weekly prize winners:
First, second and third place weekly prizes are awarded to the players that accumulate the most points for a given week. Points accumulated in previous weeks are not considered for awarding of weekly prize winners. Maximum one (1) weekly prize per household for the duration of the Contest. If any of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd highest points earners for a given week are ineligible for any reason, including having already won a prize for the same tier during a previous week, the weekly prizes will be awarded to the top three (3) eligible points earners for the given week.
The top 1st, 2nd and 3rd eligible points earners for the given weekly prize period (as determined above) will be awarded the following additional Grand Prize Entry(s):

Daily prize winners:
Daily prizes (per region) are awarded to the players (per region) that accumulate the most points for a given day. Points accumulated in previous days are not considered for awarding of daily prize winners. Maximum one (1) daily prize per participant for the duration of the Contest. If the top points earner for the given day is ineligible for any reason, including having already won a daily prize on a previous day, the daily prize will be awarded to the next highest eligible points earner for the given day.
The top eligible points earners (per region) for the given day (as determined above)will be awarded one (1) additional Grand Prize Entry.
Minor prize winners:
Minor prizes are awarded to players as determined by the ZombieGame.MyMacs.ca website. To be eligible, players must have more than 500 points (overall score), less than 100,000 points (overall score)
, and not have previously won a daily or weekly prize. Minor prize winners can win their prize from an in-game ‘vending machine’, and an email will be sent including instructions for claiming their prize. Minor prizes will be emailed in the form of a coupon once the winner has completed the prize claim process. Unclaimed minor prizes will not be awarded.
Contacting winners of Daily, Weekly and Grand Prizes:
The Sponsors or their designated representative will make at least two (2) attempts to contact selected Participants by email and/or telephone within five (5) business days of being selected. Once contacted selected Participants must confirm contact by reply email. If the selected Participant: (i) cannot be contacted within two (2) attempts or five (5) business days (whichever occurs first); or (ii) there is a return of any notification as undeliverable; or (iii) does not confirm contact as described; then the selected Participant may be disqualified and an alternate Participant will be determined from the remaining eligible Participants, in compliance with these Rules. The process noted above will be repeated up to three (3) times until a selected Participant has been successfully contacted and verified, or there are no eligible Participants remaining. For grand prizes, the process noted above will be repeated until prizes are awarded, or there are no eligible Participants remaining.
7. PRIZE AWARDING AND REDEMPTION
Before being declared a winner, the selected Participant must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. The selected Participant may be required to do any or all of the following: (i) supply proof of age consisting of a legible photocopy of either a provincially issued driver’s license or other government issued identification; (ii) supply proof of address consisting of a legible photocopy of either a provincially issued driver’s license or other government issued identification; (iii) verify the authenticity of the selected Participant’s Account; and (iv) upon being asked, provide proof of purchase (or verification of No Purchase Entry) within five (5) business days. The selected Participant will also be required to sign and return within five (5) business days the Sponsors’ Declaration and Release Form (the "Release Form"), which (among other things): (i) confirms compliance with these Rules and acceptance of the applicable prize as awarded without substitution; (ii) releases the Sponsors, their respective affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest judging organization and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest, the selected Participant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the prize or any portion thereof; and (iii) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of his/her name, MyMacs.ca username, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness, without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Sponsors in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the Internet. Declining the prize, failing to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, failing to provide proof of purchase (or verification of No Purchase Entry) within the time period indicated (upon being asked), or failing to return the properly executed Release Form within the prescribed time period, will cause the prize to be forfeited and a new winner determined in accordance with the process for the applicable prize, as described in these Rules.
8. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in the Contest, you release the Sponsors, their respective affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest judging organization and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest, your participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of any prize or portion thereof.
Without limitation, the Sponsors are not responsible or liable for: (i) incorrect or inaccurate entry of registration or entry information which may affect a Participant’s ability to participate in the Contest; (ii) human errors, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed/corrupted data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof; (iii) any inability of a Participant to access the site, or damage to a user's system occasioned by participating in the Contest; and (iv) entries which fail to fully comply with these Rules. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered, illegitimately obtained or tampered with in any way.
10. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF A CONTEST
The Promotion Group and associates authorized to act on their behalf, reserve the right, in their sole discretion to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, portions of the Contest, or Participants’ eligibility for any reason, including without limitation in the event of any printing, administrative error, virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, tampering, fraud, equipment failure, security breaches or other causes beyond their control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the contest.
Prize claims are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. In most cases, prizes will be delivered to winners at the address submitted within four (4) to eight (8) weeks of receiving the winner’s correctly completed prize claim form. The Promotion Group is not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to winners who leave unclear or incomplete information, do not confirm receipt of notification as detailed under "Contacting Winners", or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed while in transit. All prize claim and related forms become the property of the Promotion Group.
All decisions by the Promotion Group with respect to all aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding. All Participants agree to abide by all of the instructions and decisions of the Promotion Group. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation of these Rules or any decision rendered by the Promotion Group, the decision or interpretation of the Promotion Group shall prevail.
Any attempt to deliberately damage or tamper with a Contest, interfere with the proper administration of a Contest or undermine the legitimate operation of a Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Promotion Group reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal and/or civil prosecution. In the unfortunate event the MyMacs.ca and/or ZombieGame.MyMacs.ca websites either crash or experience technical difficulties, members and associates of the Promotion Group, and the Sponsors, are not responsible and assume no liability therefor.
Should any part of these Rules be determined to be void, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by any court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, such determination shall not affect the remaining parts of the Rules, which shall remain in full force and effect, subject to the minimum modification possible. The Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and local laws.
